Welcome to Model Leaders School (MLS).
At Model Leaders School, we are dedicated to nurturing confident, responsible, and independent learners through a holistic approach to education. We believe every child is unique and deserves an environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and excellence.
Our curriculum combines the Ghana Education Service syllabus, the Montessori approach, the AMO (playing gives experience) philosophy, and the Oxford International Curriculum, providing our learners with strong academic foundations, global perspectives, and essential life skills.
With small class sizes, caring teachers, and a serene learning environment, we ensure personalized attention and meaningful learning experiences that prepare our children for both local and global success.

Who are we?
Model Leaders School (MLS) is focused on nurturing and grooming our young generation into young responsible and independent adults who can think outside the box to solve problems or challenges of their time. We pay great attention to every aspect of the child’s development: social, cultural, academic, vocational, physical, spiritual, e.t.c. We combine the syllabus of both the Ghana Educational Service and the Montessori approach to learning. We also apply the (AMO- Agrodi Ma Osuahu) which literally means ‘‘playing gives experience’’ approach to learning.
We believe that every child is unique in his or her way, it is therefore important for the teacher/caregiver to observe every child and identify the unique qualities of each child and design learning activities to help the child explore and develop their full potential. We also focus on practical life activities that help the child develop skills in doing things by themselves and by so doing become independent and responsible. Through effective observation and the development of the child’s independence, we are able to develop a responsible person to rule our world.
Our small size class enables us to devote attention to the child’s academic and welfare needs within relational atmosphere of grace and care.
Our aim is to help the child develop as a whole. Not just in academics but in every aspect of the child’s social development. Our curriculum at the pre-school covers Language, Numeracy (Mathematics), Practical life, Culture (Science, Geography and History) and Sensorial (various learning activities and materials aimed at developing the five senses of the child even before the child starts to speak and write). Other GES approved subjects are offered at the primary.
We believe that the environment within which the child develops and learns goes a long way in providing a unique learning experience. We ensure that our compound and classrooms are clean, well ventilated, serene and well arranged to provide a unique ambiance that is conducive for learning. We also use a wide range of teaching and learning materials to make learning fun and interesting for the child. This way, appreciation of lessons and retention rate is high. We believe that when a child hears, they easily forget, when they see, they remember and when they do, they understand.
